CALL FOR PAPERS

GET INVOLVED WITH CRPA 2024

The deadline for submission has been extended to March 8, 2024,
at 11:59 MST

We are now accepting submissions for presentation at CRPA 2024. Our goal is to present an integrated program of research, policy and practice perspectives that centers around the conference theme – “Bringing radiation protection industries together”, and encourages delegates and presenters to connect, share and learn from one another.

We invite all CRPA members and other interested parties to submit abstracts for papers and posters, as well as proposals for panels, interactive sessions and workshops that broadly explore the conference theme. Subthemes could include, but are not limited to:

  • Management strategies regarding aspects of the radiation protection program
  • Risk management and communication, education and awareness
  • Successful program initiatives that improve occupational and public dose control
  • Discussion on effective training programs
  • Lessons learned from emergency or unplanned situations,
  • New developments in radiobiology, protection technologies and innovation
  • Discussion of regulatory expectations and objectives
  • Emergency preparedness and response

Presentations and posters on other aspects of radiation protection are also welcome and encouraged.

Abstracts may be submitted in either English or French, however, all oral presentations will be in English and simultaneous translation will not be available.

Oral presentations will be limited to 20 minutes including questions and answers, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Scientific Program Coordinators.
